I had oysters - they are fresh from Washington and yummy, perfectly fried. The cherry jam was out of this world and the chef gave us each a hush puppy to taste because I'd never had one. Everything is home made (at least as far as I know). My dinner companion had the catfish and loved it. It's easy to see why this place gets such good reviews - I am still eating my dinner and had to leave this review right now because it's so good!

What a great place!! Everything is homemade, had the Fried Catfish w/sweet potato & delicious hush puppies.. the cherry cola jam they serve w/homemade biscuits is so yummy, going to buy the jam they sell in the jar tomorrow, so good. Fast & reasonable take out food! Thanks!

I needed propane, so I went to the local gas station. Makes a lot of sense, right? What I didn't realize that tucked in the back is this little southern-style restaurant. WOW. The best fried chicken! It's actually called "Broasted Chicken" on the menu. I was very pleasantly surprised how great this food is.

We had the shrimp, grits, cheese & bacon dish for lunch. Was really good. Service was great and really friendly. Will definitely go back.
